Course open March 15th through mid October. Trestle Creek is located 33 miles east of the Idaho border on Interstate I-90. Open to the public, we are a beautifully-maintained, family-friendly club located in a stunning setting. Tee times are almost always available on short notice.
Par 4 | Handicap 9/10
A friendly way to start the round. Just find the fairway off the tee and you'll have an easy approach in. The green is open in front, so don't be afraid to run the ball up rather than fly it all the way to the flag. A nice, stress-free par-maker to kick things off.
Par 3 | Handicap 15/18
A short, simple par 3 — pick the right club and this one's very gettable. There's a bunker guarding the green, so just make sure you take enough club to clear it. Land it on the green and you've got a real shot at birdie.
Par 4 | Handicap 13/14
Not a long hole, but it rewards keeping the ball in the fairway more than swinging for distance. The green is a bit firm, so a solid, controlled approach shot is your best friend here. Get it on the putting surface and two putts should be no trouble.
Par 4 | Handicap 11/12
This one curves a bit, so it helps to shape your tee shot with the bend rather than fight it. Play too safe out wide and you'll leave yourself an awkward angle into the green. Follow the turn and the hole opens right up.
Par 5 | Handicap 5/6
A true three-shot hole for most golfers, though big hitters might have a go at the green in two. There are bunkers around the green, so on your layup, worry more about leaving a good angle than squeezing out extra yards. Give yourself a full, comfortable swing for your third shot and go flag hunting.
Par 4 | Handicap 1/2
The toughest hole on the course, and it earns that title. The fairway bends around trouble, so accuracy off the tee matters more than raw power here. Find the right side of the fairway and the green is very reachable — miss it, and you're in for a battle. A great one to walk away from with a par.
Par 3 | Handicap 17/16
The easiest hole on the card, and a pretty one too, with water sitting just off the green. It looks a little more intimidating than it plays — just pick a club that clears the water comfortably. A great chance to pick up a birdie.
Par 4 | Handicap 3/4
A strong finishing hole heading back toward the clubhouse. You'll want to be both long and straight off the tee, since anything short or off-line makes the approach a lot tougher. Hit the fairway and you've got a great chance to close things out with a good score.

"This is an incredible golf course that is well run and kept in extremely good shape. Friendly staff and manicured greens make this one of the most accommodating courses to all levels of golfers. Prices are very reasonable and you usually don't need a tee time. You won't find a nicer public course in Montana."
Charles M.
